WASPLink

WASPLink provides a connection between Dynamics GP and WASP Bar Code Labeling software so you can automatically print to a bar code label printer from inside of Dynamics GP.

WASPLink prepares the data from a Dynamics GP so that it can be easily read by the WASPLabeler software. It simplifies the process of setting up WASPLabeler and designing the labels by pre-loading the required data from several locations in Dynamics GP into a single label table that can be used by WASPLabeler.

WASPLink supports defining unique label formats down to a combination of Machine, User ID, and Item Number.  This level of control allows users at different stages of the manufacturing or purchase receiving process to print different label layouts.

WASPLink also has the ability to convert from the received unit of measure to the item’s base unit, and generate one label per unit. For example, if a Case is received, WASPLink can convert that to 1-label per unit within the case. It also has options for printing labels with lot numbers or serial numbers. Medical and high-tech environments might also use the ability to print multiple copies per label, so that there are labels for different sides of a container plus a control label for documentation.

WASPLink automatically launches your predefined Wasp Label file, so that users do not have to separately launch labeling software and enter selection criteria.

The SmartList link enables printing barcodes for any SmartList Favorite containing an Item Number column.  Use the SmartList link to print “go-live” labels for a large amount of existing inventory, or to provide users (such as Shipping & Receiving) with the ability to print labels without having access to transaction entry windows.
