Archive Controls

MFG Data Archive adds controls to prevent re-use of archived document numbers. The following document numbers are controlled:

• Manufacturing Order Entry – Manufacture Order Number
• Component Transaction Entry – Pick Number
• Manufacturing Order Receipt Entry – Receipt Number

Mfg Data Archive will ensure that when manufacturing documents are moved to the archive database, those document numbers cannot be re-used in the live environment.

Mfg Data Archive must be registered (have a valid, un-expired registration key) for its controls to be active (see Archive Controls), and the software must be installed on every GP client.
