Security

The Installation routine will automatically create a Security Task called MFGDATARC, and a Security Role called MFGDATARC.

The Task will have access to all windows in MFG Data Archive, and the Task will be assigned to the Role.

To give a user access to MFG Data Archive you can either assign the Task to an existing Role, or assign the new MFGDATARC Role to a user.

Do NOT modify the MFGDATARC Security Task. Each time an update is installed for MFG Data Archive, it will recreate the Task so it has access to everything in the suite, and any changes will be lost.

Regular manufacturing users do NOT need security access to anything in MFG Data Archive. The controls that prevent duplication of records will be active regardless of security.
