POP: Lock PO Cost Fields
There are three windows where Item Cost could be changed: PO Receiving, PO Invoice and the Select PO Items window. These windows can be locked individually so that you can lock the fields on one window but not the other. A password can be provided so that certain users can unlock the cost fields and change the cost.
POP: Lock PO Invoice Cost Fields
The Lock PO Invoice Cost Fields control prevents editing of the Unit and Extended cost when entering a PO Invoice. The fields are locked on the main scrolling window, and on the Detail Entry window.
Setup
Navigation: Tools >> Setup >> Company >> Setup GP PowerPack
Mark the box next to TWK-POP: Lock PO Invoice Cost Fields*, then click DONE.
There is optional additional setup. See POP: Lock Cost Fields Password below.
The feature will be enabled for the current user. Other users must restart their Dynamics GP client to enable this feature.
POP: Lock PO Receipt Cost Fields
The Lock PO Receipt Cost Fields control prevents editing of the Unit and Extended cost when entering a PO Receipt. The fields are locked on the main scrolling window, and on the Detail Entry window.

POP: Lock Select PO Items Cost Fields
The Lock Select PO Items Cost Fields control prevents editing of the Unit cost when using the “Auto-Invoice” or “Auto-Receive” window (they are the same window).

POP: Lock Cost Fields Password
An Additional Menu is added to each window where cost fields are locked. Go to Additional >> Unlock Costs to unlock the fields. If a Lock Cost Fields Password has been entered in Tweaks Setup (below), the user will have to provide that password to unlock the fields. If no password is entered in the Tweaks Setup window, the user will not be prompted to enter a password and selecting Additional >> Unlock Costs will unlock the fields.
In a scrolling window, click into the line where you want to change the cost, then select Additional >> Unlock Costs.
From GP PowerPack Setup, double click on tweak name (i.e. “TWK-POP: Lock PO Invoice Cost Fields*”) to open the Tweaks Setup window. Locate the POP:Lock Costs Field Password section and enter a password.
