Item LLC Recalc

The Manufacturing LLC Utility runs for all items and can take a long time to process. Adding a component in BOM Entry forces an LLC recalculation based on that single BOM, however the BOM Mass Update utility does not recalculate LLC. Additionally integrated BOMs, and SQL table updates would not trigger an LLC recalculation. This tweak will automatically recalculate LLC for the Replacement Item when changes are made in the BOM Mass Update window, and it also adds an Additional Menu to Item Engineering to run a single item LLC recalculation.

Setup

Navigation: Tools >> Setup >> Manufacturing >> MFG PowerPack Setup

Mark the box next to “TWK: Item LLC Recalc”.

Click DONE on the MFG PowerPack Setup window. This Tweak will be active immediately for the current user. Other users will need to close GP, then log-in again to activate it.

Using Item LLC Recalc

Navigation: Cards >> Manufacturing >> Inventory >> Engineering Data

Select an Item, then click Additional >> Item LLC Recalc

Navigation: Tools >> Utilities >> Manufacturing >> BOM Mass Updates

The Item LLC Recalculation runs automatically after clicking the PROCESS button. The “Replacement Item” is recalculated.
