Security

The installation will create a Security Task called PREACTOR_INTEGRATION that has rights to all of the windows in this product. It will also create a Security Role called PREACTOR_INTEGRATION, and assign the Task to the Role.

To grant a user full access to this product, either assign the PREACTOR_INTEGRATION Task to one or more Roles, or assign the PREACTOR_INTEGRATION Security Role to a user.

We recommend that only a small group of trusted users be given access to the Setup window, since changes to Setup can significantly impact which Manufacturing Orders are exported for scheduling.

Users will also need security rights to a Manufacturing Report called “Manufacturing Order Schedule Difference Summary.”

Do not modify the PREACTOR_INTEGRATION Security Task. Each time an update to Preactor Integration is installed it will rebuild the Security Task and eliminate any changes that had been made.
